The air is thick and heavy, smelling of death, making his lungs protest with every breath.
He pushes on.
Amber eyes appear in his vision, a laugh echoes in the dark.
He pushes on.
Darkness’ fingers gently caress his throat, whispering death in his ear like a song.
Riku screams.
